Things to do at Peasholm Park

1. Try the Lakeside Attractions

In Peasholm Park proper, there are dragon boats available for hire as well as a mini golf area. Over the road, there are so many things to take part in, including a sky trail, water chute, water walking balls and bumper boats. This is also a great place for an icecream stop.

2. Ride the Scarborough North Bay Railway

This light railway travels from Peasholm Park up to the Sealife Centre, and back again. You get to see beautiful views of the beach and the castle in the distance, and my 1 year old loved everyone waving up at us!

3. Explore the gardens

The oriental themed gardens are beautiful to walk around and have very friendly squirrels that love to be fed! There are lots of bridges to explore and some rare trees here too.

Things to do nearby:

1. Scarborough Castle

These magnificent ruins are steeped in history, with stories from Roman Times, the Medieval Period and WW1 to name just a few. There are also unparalleled views of both North Bay and South Bay from the castle and its beautiful headland too.

2. Whitby

This seaside town has tons of family friendly activities to offer, from visiting the abbey ruins that inspired Dracula, to exploring the coast with a boat trip. There is also a great beach to spend some time on.
